Do you receive commission or referrals fees from vendors?
Lotus Weddings do not receive any commission or referral fees from vendors, and will only recommend suppliers that we feel will meet a couple’s needs best.

How many weddings do you do a day?
Lotus will only coordinate one wedding on any day so you can rest easy in the knowledge that you have our full concentration on your wedding day and we will be at your beck and call!

What is your procedure on the day of the wedding?
Lotus will be in attendance for the whole of the wedding day to make sure that everything is running to plan. If there is a certain part of proceedings that you would like us to pay particular attention to then we will prioritise this, but basically we will make sure we are everywhere we are needed. We will not leave the wedding until everything that we have planned has gone without a hitch and the happy couple are dancing the night away surrounded by friends and family.

Can you save us money on elements of our wedding?
Lotus weddings work hard to negotiate the best possible rates and may be able to arrange discounts on top of this due to good relationships with regular suppliers. We will always pass reductions over to you and endeavour to save you money wherever possible, however discounts are very much dependent on your requirements and cannot be guaranteed.

How do you charge for your services?
All of our quotes are compiled after a consultation meeting where your ideas will be discussed and the level of service required will be ascertained. A written quote will be sent to you within a couple of days of our meeting and the price will be calculated depending on the amount of work and time required of Lotus Weddings. You will be quoted one price for the complete service and this price will not change unless additional services are required by you, at which point we will negotiate any extra charges necessary.

 

Will I feel like I've lost control?
We will never let you feel that you have lost control and will only become as involved as you want us to be! Our service is not to take over but provide advice, support and expertise and we will obtain your full agreement and approval before we confirm any bookings. However if you so wish you can leave more in our hands and need only be available to make decisions.
The role of Lotus Weddings is to act as your 'Personal Assistant' and you should feel free to use us as you wish.
